Farrell Stadium
Tomlinson–Fillippo Field at Farrell Stadium is a sports venue on the West Chester University campus in West Chester, Pennsylvania. It opened in 1970 and seats about 7,500 people. The stadium is mainly used by the West Chester Golden Rams football and track teams. It has a FieldTurf playing surface and a Mondo track surface, and it replaced an earlier Farrell Stadium on the same campus.
Over the years, Farrell Stadium hosted other events as well. It was the temporary home of the Philadelphia Independence of the Women’s Professional Soccer league in 2010, and the Philadelphia Eagles held their summer training camp there from 1980 to 1995. A statue of Michael Horrocks, a former Golden Rams quarterback who died in the September 11 attacks, stands at the north end zone.
In 2024, the school announced the stadium would be renamed Tomlinson–Fillippo Field at Farrell Stadium to honor two former Golden Rams players, Tommy Tomlinson and Tom Fillippo. A new state-of-the-art video scoreboard was installed in 2025.
