Lane Caffaro
Lane Caffaro (born March 5, 1984) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He last played for the Hannover Indians in Germany’s second division. A left shooter, he is 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighed about 190 pounds during his career. Born in Slave Lake, Alberta, Caffaro played college hockey at Union College for four seasons with the Union Garnet Chargers in NCAA Division I ECAC Hockey. In his senior year (2008–09) he was named to the All-ECAC Hockey First Team. He went undrafted and began his pro career in 2009, playing for teams including the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL) and Hannover Indians before retiring in 2011.
