Hanswar
Hanswar is a village in the Ambedkar Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It lies to the east of Tanda and is about 70–80 miles from Ayodhya. The area is part of the Purvanchal region. Hanswar sits about 78 meters above sea level. The official language is Hindi, with Urdu also used officially. The PIN code is 224143, the telephone area code is 0527328, and vehicle registration is UP 45.
Historically, Hanswar dates back to the Mughal era. Its ruler, Ranvijay Singh, and his wife Jaikumari opposed the construction of the Babri Masjid on Ram Janmabhoomi by Mir Baqi. The Janmabhoomi Parisar area was controlled by Ranvijay Singh for about 15 days after it came under Babri Masjid, and he later died in battle with the Mughal army.
Climate is hot in summer (March to July: about 35–45°C) and cool in winter (November to January: about 6–25°C). Monsoon rains arrive from July to September.
Transport: Hanswar has bus routes to many cities, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Agra, Lucknow, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Allahabad (Prayagraj), Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, Faizabad (Ayodhya), Akbarpur, Rajesultanpur, and Ghazipur. However, there is no Uttar Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus service in Hanswar.
