Fábio Calonego
Fábio da Silva Calonego, commonly known as Fábio Silva or Fábio Calonego, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Persija Jakarta in the Indonesian Super League. Born on 24 July 1997 in Novo Hamburgo, he is 1.80 m tall. He came through the youth systems at Aimoré and Criciúma and began his senior career with Ypiranga in 2017, later playing for Operário Ferroviário, Azuriz, Aimoré and Confiança.
He made his club debut for Operário Ferroviário on 19 January 2020 in a 1–0 win over Cascavel in the Campeonato Paranaense. He joined Confiança in February 2023, debuted in March 2023, and extended his contract in October 2024 to stay until 2025. In 2024 he played 28 matches and scored one goal, including a Copa do Nordeste pre-match goal against Retrô. Across three seasons with Confiança he played 78 games and scored six goals, and was among the most-used players by minutes.
On 10 July 2025, Persija Jakarta announced the signing of Fábio on a one-year contract. He wears number 97 for Persija and has appeared regularly for the club.
