Jack Otterson
Jack Otterson (August 25, 1905 – December 22, 1991) was an American art director who worked on about 300 films from 1934 to 1953. He was nominated for eight Academy Awards in Best Art Direction. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Otterson studied at Yale, where he edited The Yale Record with Geoffrey T. Hellman, Dwight Macdonald, and Jerome Zerbe. He died in Los Angeles, California.
