Exco International was a London-based British money broker that traded on the London Stock Exchange and was at one time part of the FTSE 100. It began in 1965 as Astley & Pearce and later merged with Godsell & Co. In 1978, Gerrard & National sold it in a management buyout. It was first listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1981. In 1986, it was acquired by British & Commonwealth Holdings. After B&C collapsed, the business was sold off as Exco plc. In 1998, Exco joined Intercapital plc in a reverse takeover, and the combined group was later integrated into ICAP. Headquarters were in London. The chairman was Richard Lacy. Exco International is now defunct; its successor is ICAP.
