Erigeron nematophyllus
Erigeron nematophyllus, or needle-leaf fleabane, is a Vulnerable North American flowering plant in the daisy family (Asteraceae). It grows in the western United States, especially Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming. This small perennial herb is rarely taller than 18 cm and has a taproot. It has very narrow, thread-like leaves. Each stem usually carries 1–3 flower heads, with up to 55 white or pink ray florets surrounding many yellow disc florets. It grows on sandy or rocky soils in sagebrush flats or conifer woodlands.
