Eric Matheny is an actor, screenwriter, and co-founder of The Acting Center LA. He grew up in Los Angeles and Atlanta and began as a child actor in national TV commercials. As a teen, he starred opposite Roger Mosely in Run Down The Rabbit, an ABC Movie of the Week. He also acted with Jeanne Tripplehorn in A Perfect Tribute. He played Dr. Ferguson, J. Edgar Hoover's physician, in J. Edgar, a Clint Eastwood film with Leonardo DiCaprio. He had a recurring role on Time of Your Life on Fox, opposite Pauley Perrette. He has guest-starred on CSI, Without a Trace, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Director Betty Thomas cast him as the lead in the Fox pilot That Guy. He has appeared in national brand commercials, including a Bud Light Super Bowl spot and Gillette ProGlide Fusion. Matheny is collaborating with Isa Totah and Will Potter on a coming-of-age story called America about an Arab-American; producer Mark Johnson is on board.
