Elphinstone Reef

Elphinstone Reef, also known as Sha'ab Abu Hamra, is a standalone reef in the Egyptian Red Sea. It lies about 30 kilometers north of Marsa Alam. The reef is mainly home to soft corals, including Dendronephthya species. Its coordinates are roughly 25°18′31″N, 34°51′37″E (25.3086°N, 34.8603°E).
