Eleanor Winifred Worthington Cox (born 21 June 2001) is an English actress from Merseyside. She is best known for playing Matilda Wormwood in Matilda the Musical, a role she shared with three other young actresses. In 2012, at age 10, she won the Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical, becoming the youngest Olivier Award winner at the time. She was later nominated for a BAFTA TV Award for playing Janet Hodgson in The Enfield Haunting.

Worthington Cox has also starred as Polly Renfrew in the CBBC series Hetty Feather and as Cait in Britannia (Sky Atlantic). She trained at the Formby School of Performing Arts from a very young age and appeared in the chorus for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Liverpool Empire before Matilda.

Her stage career includes being announced in 2011 as one of four girls to play Matilda, debutting in October 2011 and continuing in the production through 2012. She played Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre in May 2013. She appeared as the Young Princess Aurora in the 2014 film Maleficent. In 2015 she played Blousey Brown in Bugsy Malone at the Lyric Hammersmith and Jess in Tomcat at Southwark Playhouse. In 2016 she received another BAFTA TV Award nomination for The Enfield Haunting and was named one of Screen International’s Stars of Tomorrow. In 2018 she played Cait in Britannia and Boogie in the comedy film Action Point. She continues to act in theatre and television.
