2006 HKFC International Soccer Sevens
The 2006 HKFC International Soccer Sevens, officially the 2006 HKFC Philips Lighting International Soccer Sevens, was the seventh edition of the event. It took place from 19 to 21 May 2006. In the main tournament, Urawa Red Diamonds defeated Aston Villa 1–0 in the final to win the Cup. In the Masters Tournament, Lorenz All Stars won the Cup. Aston Villa’s Gabriel Agbonlahor was named Player of the Tournament. Teams included Happy Valley, Sun Hei, Kitchee, Aston Villa, Kaizer Chiefs, Manchester United, Rangers, Glasgow Celtic, Urawa Red Diamonds and PSV Eindhoven.
