Rokdim Im Kokhavim is Israel’s version of Dancing with the Stars. It began in 2005 and airs about 60 minutes per episode. Local celebrities pair with professional ballroom dancers and perform each week. A panel of judges and the public vote to save their favorites, with the couple receiving the fewest votes being eliminated. Viewers can vote by phone, SMS, or online.

The show has been produced since 2005 and has 11 seasons so far. It originally aired on Channel 2 (seasons 1–7) and moved to Channel 12 for season 8 and beyond.

Hosts and judges have changed over the years. Long-time host duo Avi Kushnir and Hilla Nachshon led through seasons 1–6, with Guy Zu-Aretz and Yarden Harel hosting season 7, and Lucy Ayoub hosting from season 8 onward. The judging panel has included Eli Mizrahi and many other judges across different seasons.

Notable moments include:
- Season 3 finale drawing more than 350,000 votes.
- A twist in season 5 let the public reinstate one of five eliminated couples; Orly Weinerman won the vote and returned, only to be eliminated the next week.
- Several controversies over contestants’ plans to return due to other commitments.
- Multiple injuries have led to partner withdrawals and replacements across seasons, including in season 8 where several couples withdrew or were replaced.
