Eiffelospongia
Eiffelospongia is a fossil sponge known from the Mount Stephen Trilobite Beds. It lived during the Cambrian period. It is an animal in the phylum Porifera, placed in the informal group Heteractinida and the family Eiffeliidae. The described species is Eiffelospongia hirsuta, named by Rigby & Collins in 2004.
