Edwin Piper Cox (May 2, 1870 – March 11, 1938) was a lawyer and Democratic politician from Richmond, Virginia. He served in the Virginia House of Delegates from 1904 to 1916, representing Richmond. He was the Speaker of the House from 1914 to 1916, following Richard E. Byrd and before Harry R. Houston.

Cox was born in Richmond and attended Hampden–Sydney College (BA) and the University of Virginia (LLB). He married Sallie Bland Clarke in 1898 (she died in 1906) and later Rhoda Ethel Freeman in 1912. They had four children, including Bland and Edwin. He died in Richmond at age 67.
