René Bjørn Christensen (born 31 October 1970 in Nykøbing Falster) is a Danish politician. He has been a member of the Folketing (the Danish Parliament) since 2008. He started in politics on Guldborgsund Municipality’s council in 2006. He initially ran for the Danish People’s Party (DPP); in the 2007 election he got 1,412 votes, which wasn’t enough for a seat but made him the DPP’s main substitute for the Zealand constituency. He served as a substitute for Mia Falkenberg from 10 January 2008 to 8 October 2008, and when Falkenberg resigned on 9 October 2008, Christensen took her seat.

In the 2011 election he was directly elected with 2,580 votes, and he was re-elected in 2015 with 8,180 votes and again in 2019 with 5,175 votes. Christensen has a background as a teacher and a mechanic and has been a member of Guldborgsund Municipal Council since 2006.

In February 2024 he left the Danish People’s Party and joined the Moderates, saying the DPP had moved away from influencing Danish politics.
