Drouges
Drouges is a small commune in Brittany, in northwest France. It’s in the Ille-et-Vilaine department and part of the Fougères-Vitré arrondissement and the La Guerche-de-Bretagne canton. The commune covers about 111.6 square kilometers and sits between 57 and 109 meters above sea level.
As of 2023, about 502 people live in Drouges, and the residents are called Drougeais. The town is part of the Vitré Communauté intercommunalité.
The mayor for 2020–2026 is Patricia Marsollier. Drouges observes Central European Time (UTC+1) and daylight saving time (UTC+2).
The French pronunciation is [dʁuʒ], with local names Drouj (Gallo) and Drougez (Breton).
