Lake Pusiano is a small, scenic lake in Lombardy, Italy, located between the provinces of Como and Lecco in the Brianza area. It covers about 5.25 square kilometers, is roughly 2.7 kilometers long and 2.4 kilometers wide, with a maximum depth of 27 meters and a surface elevation of 257 meters. The Lambro River is both the main inflow and outflow. The lake sits near several towns: Pusiano, Eupilio, Erba and Merone in Como province, and Cesana Brianza, Bosisio Parini and Rogeno in Lecco.

Isola dei Cipressi is a small cypress island inside the lake; it is privately owned and sometimes hosts tours or events.

Lake Pusiano formed as a glacial lake and, long ago, was connected to nearby Lake Alserio. It was made shallower and separated by sediment and human activity over time. In 1811 a dam called Cavo Diotti regulates the lake’s outlet to the Lambro valley, and today the Regional Park of the Lambro Valley helps manage it.

The lake is known for its wildlife—about 25 fish species including carp, pike and perch—and for its clear waters. Fishing today is catch-and-release. The area has two rowing centers and is popular for sailing and boat rides, including a solar-powered boat named Enigma.

Lake Pusiano is also famous for culture: poets and artists such as Giuseppe Parini and Giovanni Segantini drew inspiration here. The town of Pusiano is known for a traditional perch risotto.
