Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Great Adventure in the Antarctic Kachi Kochi (2017) is a Japanese animated science fiction film. It is the 37th Doraemon movie, directed and written by Atsushi Takahashi. The story follows Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, Suneo, Doraemon, and friends as they travel to a giant iceberg in the Southern Ocean. They discover a golden ring frozen in ice that comes from Antarctica 100,000 years ago. To learn more, they use the Anywhere Door to visit Antarctica, meet Carla and Professor Hyakkoi, and encounter two elephants, Mosuke and Yuka-tan. Facing harsh dangers, they journey through time to save themselves and later return home, with Carla’s planet slowly thawing at the end.
