Dimitri Altaryov
Dimitri Altaryov (also transliterated as Dmitry Altaryov) is a Russian former professional ice hockey winger. He was born on August 13, 1980, in Penza, Russia. He is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighed about 196 pounds during his career. He played left wing and shot left-handed. Altaryov played for several teams, including Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod, HC Yugra, and Metallurg Magnitogorsk. In the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, he was selected by the New York Islanders in the 9th round, 264th overall. His professional career lasted from 1998 to 2015, and he is best known for his time in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
