Deus is a civilization-building board game for 2–4 players designed by Sébastien Dujardin, with illustrations by Ian Parovel, Maëva Da Silva, Christine Deschamps and Paul Laffont. It was released in 2014 by Pearl Games and distributed by Asmodee. The game lasts about 60 minutes and setup takes under five minutes. It emphasizes planning and hand management, with a low amount of randomness.

Players start with five cards and work to develop their own civilizations. There are six card colors: green for resources, red for military, brown for points, yellow for effects, purple for temples, and blue for merchants. When you build a structure in a location, you discard the matching card to your personal board and gain its effects. The game is noted for its unique approach to managing your personal board and the main terrain, focusing on design choices.

Deus has been praised for its fresh approach and has earned several nominations and awards, including As d’Or 2015, Meeple’s Choice 2014, Board Game of the Year 2014, Strategy Game of the Year 2014, and a 2015 Kennerspiel des Jahres nomination.
