The 1900 Washington gubernatorial election was held on November 6, 1900. Incumbent governor John Rankin Rogers won re-election as the Democratic nominee, defeating Republican John M. Frink. Rogers received 52,048 votes (48.86%), while Frink earned 49,860 votes (46.81%). Other minor candidates also took a small share of the vote. In 1896 Rogers had been the fusion candidate of the Democratic, Populist, and Silver Republican parties; in 1900 those groups united under one Democratic Party at a unity convention, and Rogers continued as the party’s nominee.
