Deconica horizontalis
Deconica horizontalis is a mushroom species in the Strophariaceae family. It belongs to the genus Deconica. Its current name is Deconica horizontalis, and it was previously known as Agaricus horizontalis, described in 1788 before being reclassified in 2009. Taxonomic classification: Kingdom Fungi; Division Basidiomycota; Class Agaricomycetes; Order Agaricales; Family Strophariaceae; Genus Deconica; Species D. horizontalis. As an agaric fungus, it has a cap with gills on the underside.
