Daryl Alan Patterson (November 21, 1943 – August 28, 2025) was an American right-handed pitcher who played in Major League Baseball from 1968 to 1974. He was born in Coalinga, California, and was part Mono Native American. He attended College of the Sequoias in Visalia, where he played baseball and basketball.

Patterson began his pro career after signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers, then was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in 1964. He spent several years in the minor leagues before making his MLB debut on April 10, 1968, with Detroit. In his rookie season he helped the Tigers win the World Series, pitching mostly in relief in 1968.

Over five MLB seasons, Patterson appeared in 142 games, finishing with a win–loss record of 11–9, an earned run average of 4.09, and 142 strikeouts in 231 innings pitched. He also played for the Oakland Athletics (1971), St. Louis Cardinals (1971), and Pittsburgh Pirates (1974). His career included a balk incident in 1971 and a 1974 brawl with Pedro Borbón that led to a tetanus shot.

After retiring from baseball, Patterson worked for Pacific Gas & Electric for 20 years and lived near Clovis, California. He died on August 28, 2025, at age 81.
