Darvoy is a commune in the Loiret department in north-central France, in the Centre-Val de Loire region. It sits in the Loire Valley, about 17 km east of Orléans, 2 km southwest of Jargeau, and 122 km south of Paris. The village covers 18.58 square kilometers and had a population of about 1,930 in 2023, giving around 225 inhabitants per square kilometer. The residents are called Darvoisiens. Darvoy is in the arrondissement of Orléans, the canton of Châteauneuf-sur-Loire, and the intercommunal group CC des Loges; the mayor for 2020–2026 is Marc Brynhole. The name likely comes from Celtic words for oak. The town has a church and a war memorial and sits at about 98–103 meters above sea level.
