NHS Research Scotland (NRS) is a government-backed organisation in Scotland that supports clinical and translational research. It used to be called Health Science Scotland and the Scottish Academic Health Science Collaboration. NRS is a partnership of four medical schools (University of Edinburgh, University of Glasgow, University of Dundee, and University of Aberdeen), the Scottish NHS Boards, and the Chief Scientist Office.
