Daqiu Village
Daqiu Village (Chinese: 大坵村) is a small island area in the Taiwan Strait. It is part of Wuchiu Township in Kinmen County, Taiwan. Across the strait in mainland China, it is known as Wuchiu Village in Meizhou Town, Xiuyu District, Putian City, Fujian Province. The village is surrounded by sea on all sides and includes Daqiu Island and nearby reefs. It covers about 0.71 square kilometers, a little larger than nearby Xiaofu. Most of the land sits in the ROC military control zone.
