Dan Anderson (born January 1, 1951) is a former American basketball player who played in the NBA. He was born in Torrance, California, and is 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 185 pounds. He played high school basketball at North Torrance and college basketball at USC from 1971 to 1974. In the 1974 NBA draft, he was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 6th round (92nd overall). He played in the NBA from 1974 to 1976 with Portland, appearing in 95 games and averaging 3.7 points, 1.0 rebound, and 1.7 assists per game. He earned First-team All-Pac-8 in 1974 and Second-team All-Pac-8 in 1973. He was also drafted by the ABA's San Diego Conquistadors in the 8th round in 1974.

After basketball, Anderson became a house builder and woodworker.
