Dai Weimin
Dai Weimin (戴维民), born May 1962 in Xuancheng, Anhui, is a former officer of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. He reached the rank of major general in 2010 and served as deputy dean of the PLA Nanjing Political College from 2013 to 2014. In November 2014, he was investigated by the PLA's anti-graft agency.
Education and career: He studied library science at East China Normal University in the early 1980s, and earned a Doctor of Literature degree from Fudan University. In the early 1990s he worked at the Air Force Institute of Politics in Shanghai, and later held roles at the PLA Nanjing Political College, including library curator and director of the Information Management Department. He was deputy head of the college's Training Department in 2006 and was promoted to head of the Training Department in 2010.
