Sveti Ožbolt

Sveti Ožbolt is a small settlement in the Municipality of Škofja Loka, in the Upper Carniola region of Slovenia. It covers 7.72 square kilometers and sits at about 847 meters above sea level. In 2002, 78 people lived there.

Name changes
- The settlement was originally named Sveti Ožbolt (Saint Oswald).
- In 1955, it was renamed Ožbolt nad Zmincem as part of a government effort to remove religious elements from place names.
- The name Sveti Ožbolt was restored in 1997. The historic German name was Sankt Oswald.

Church
A church on a hill above the settlement is dedicated to Saint Oswald. It is Late Gothic:
- Sanctuary dated 1527
- Nave built in 1644 and vaulted in 1849
- Frescoes on the arch to the sanctuary were painted in 1534 by Jernej of Loka
