Düsseldorf Völklinger Straße station
Düsseldorf Völklinger Straße station is a through station in the Unterbilk district of Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It opened on 29 May 1988 on a line built in 1891 as part of the Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof project. The station has two tracks and one island platform and is not accessible for passengers with limited mobility. It is owned by Deutsche Bahn and served by DB Regio NRW and Regiobahn GmbH. The station sits on the Mönchengladbach–Düsseldorf line (KBS 450.8) and is classified as a category 5 station.
Services are every 20 minutes: Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn lines S8 (Mönchengladbach – Wuppertal/Hagen), S11 (Düsseldorf Airport – Bergisch Gladbach), and S28 (Mettmann Stadtwald/Wuppertal – Kaarster See).
