Robert Lloyd Saucy (May 1, 1930 – March 12, 2015) was an American biblical scholar and professor of systematic theology. He was born in Salem, Oregon, and studied at George Fox College and Westmont College, earning an AB in history. He earned his Th.M. (1958) and Th.D. (1961) in systematic theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. While at Dallas, he taught part-time at the Southern Bible Training Institute and served as a part-time pastor at Milligan Bible Church, and he was ordained in the North American Baptist General Conference.

Saucy joined the Talbot School of Theology in 1961 and became a distinguished professor in 1989. He also taught at Rosemead Graduate School of Psychology (1970–1977). He was a longtime member of the Evangelical Theological Society and served as its president in 1972. He contributed to the original 1971 NASB translation and the 1995 update. He died in 2015 from injuries from a car accident. His 2013 book, Minding the Heart: The Way of Spiritual Transformation, was dedicated to his wife Nancy.
