Christel Boeljon
Christel Wilhelmina Boeljon (born 30 July 1987) is a Dutch professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the LPGA Tour. She was born in Beverwijk, Netherlands, and after visiting Golfclub Spaarnwoude with her parents, she gave up field hockey to focus on golf. In 2005 she moved to the United States to study at Purdue University on a golf scholarship.
Boeljon turned professional in 2009. She joined the Ladies European Tour that year and later joined the LPGA Tour in 2011. She has four LET wins, including the European Ladies Golf Cup (2009) with Marjet van der Graaff, and the National Stroke Play (2009) and the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open (2011). She also led the LET money list in 2011.
In major championships, her best finish is T15 at the Chevron Championship in 2011, and T23 at the Women's PGA Championship in 2012. She has made the cut at the U.S. Women's Open in 2012, 2013 and 2014, and her best finish at the Women's British Open is T47 in 2013.
