Contemporary Art Centre (Vilnius)
Contemporary Art Centre (CAC) in Vilnius, Lithuania, is a public art museum. It was opened in 1992 by the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture and is located at 2 Vokiečių Street, in the building formerly known as the Arts Exhibition Palace.
CAC has about 2,000 square meters of space, with five exhibition rooms and a cinema hall. In 1997, it opened the Fluxus cabinet, a permanent display of Fluxus works from the Gilbert and Lila Silverman collection, featuring artist George Maciunas.
Since 2005, CAC has published the quarterly magazine ŠMC/CAC Interviu. The centre is directed by Valentinas Klimašauskas.
