Coney Hill
Coney Hill is a suburb and ward of Gloucester in Gloucestershire, England. It had 3,401 residents at the 2021 census. The area began to grow in the 1870s as Gloucester expanded. It was originally part of the village of Barnwood, but between 1882 and 1900 land was moved from Barnwood to the City of Gloucester, including Coney Hill. Coney Hill Hospital opened in 1883, and the area is now mainly residential. Coney Hill Cemetery and Crematorium opened in the 1930s. A major redevelopment in the 1950s connected Coney Hill more closely with Barnwood. Stagecoach West runs buses to Gloucester, serving the area.
