Cold is a country-soul song by American singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton. It was released on September 25, 2020 as the second single from his fourth studio album, Starting Over. The track is 5:09 long and was written by Chris Stapleton, Dave Cobb, J.T. Cure, and Derek Mixon, with production by Dave Cobb and Stapleton for Mercury Nashville. Cold won the Best Country Song at the 64th Grammy Awards. Stapleton performed the song at the CMA Awards on November 10, 2021, and at the Grammy Awards on April 3, 2022. The single comes after Starting Over (2020) and before You Should Probably Leave (2021).
