Aykhan Farzukh oglu Abbasov (born 25 August 1981 in Baku) is an Azerbaijani football manager and former midfielder. He is the head coach of Şamaxı and the Azerbaijan national under-21 team, and serves as caretaker manager of the Azerbaijan national team.

Playing career
Abbasov started in Khazri Buzovna and played as a midfielder for several clubs, including Shafa Baku, MOIK Baku (on loan), Turan Tovuz, Inter Baku (now Şamaxı), Mil-Muğan, and Qarabağ. He also played for Azerbaijan’s U18 and U21 teams.

Coaching career
He has worked as a manager and coach at Zira (assistant 2015–2016; head coach 2016–2018), Sumgayit (2018–2021), Turan Tovuz (2022–2024), and Şamaxı (from 2024). In March 2025, Abbasov was appointed head coach of Azerbaijan’s under-21 team on a two-year contract. After Fernando Santos left, he became caretaker of the national team for the Ukraine–Azerbaijan World Cup qualifier, guiding the team from a 5–0 loss to Iceland to a 1–1 draw with Ukraine. He remains the temporary manager and is expected to lead Azerbaijan in upcoming matches.
