Clayton Rangihau McMillan (born 6 August 1974) is a New Zealand rugby union coach who became head coach of Munster Rugby in July 2025 on a three-year contract.

He was born in Perth, Australia, and raised in Rotorua, New Zealand, where he went to Rotorua Boys’ High School. McMillan worked as a police officer in Rotorua.

As a player, he was a Number 8 for Bay of Plenty from 1995 to 2003, making 113 appearances and scoring 110 points. He also played for the Whakarewarewa club and represented the New Zealand Divisional team in 2000.

McMillan began coaching while still playing, taking on roles with Coca-Cola Red Sparks in Japan as player/coach, Whakarewarewa, and later with New Zealand U20. He also contributed to Bay of Plenty development teams and served in various coaching roles, including Wellington U20 forwards coach.

In Super Rugby, he was interim head coach of the Chiefs in 2020 and became head coach from 2021 to 2025. He also coached with the All Blacks XV between 2022 and 2024.

McMillan is of Māori descent: Ngāi Te Rangi, Ngāi Tamawhariua and Te Rangaihouhiri.
