Kelly Holcomb, full name Bryan Kelly Holcomb, was born July 9, 1973, in Fayetteville, Tennessee. He is a former NFL quarterback who played from 1995 to 2007. Holcomb attended Lincoln County High School and played college football at Middle Tennessee State University. He went undrafted in 1995 but signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and later spent time with the Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, and Minnesota Vikings. He also played for the Barcelona Dragons in the WLAF.

Holcomb is best known for his time with the Browns. In January 2003, he threw for 429 yards and three touchdowns in a playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, one of the Browns’ most memorable postseason performances. Over his NFL career, he threw 39 touchdowns and 38 interceptions, with 5,916 passing yards and a passer rating of 79.2.

After retiring, Holcomb became a broadcaster for Middle Tennessee, covering the Blue Raiders in 2008. He later served as offensive coordinator at Riverdale High School in Tennessee in 2015. He and his wife, Lorie, have three children: Kellyn, Jalyn, and Jameson.
