Claude Pickens

Claude L. Pickens, Jr. (1900–1985) was an American missionary and photographer. Born in Alexandria, Virginia, he and his wife Elizabeth Zwemer Pickens worked in northwestern China with the China Inland Mission. In 1933 and 1936 they studied the Hui and Tibetan peoples and made important photo collections. His Chinese name was 毕敬士. He died in Annisquam, Massachusetts.
