Claire Hanley Arboretum
Claire Hanley Arboretum is an arboretum on the Oregon State University Extension and Research campus in Medford, Oregon, located at 569 Hanley Road. It is operated by Oregon State University.
The arboretum was first planted in the 1960s by the Hanley sisters, with additional plantings after 1995.
Mature trees include the dogwood species Cornus mas, the dove-tree (Davidia involucrata), and the sourwood (Oxydendrum arboreum).
The land was part of the Michael Hanley Farmstead. Michael Hanley bought the original land claim from David Clinton and Archibald Welton. After his death, the farm was divided, with Alice Hanley receiving the home and buildings. When Alice died, the property was left to her niece Claire Hanley and her sisters Martha and Mary Hanley, daughters of John A. Hanley.
