Tal Friedman
Tal Friedman (Hebrew: טל פרידמן) was born on December 20, 1963, in Kiryat Ata, Israel. He is an Israeli actor, comedian and musician best known for starring in the sketch show Eretz Nehederet.
His father was a Holocaust survivor, and Friedman is of Ashkenazi Jewish origin from Poland. He served in the Israeli Navy on a missile boat during the 1982 Lebanon War. He studied acting at Tel Aviv University, where he met Moshe Furster and created their first act, Moshe's Adventures in the Big City, while also performing in plays.
Friedman has appeared in films such as Driks' Brother (1994), Right Back (1997), Riki Riki (2005), Joy (2005) and Schwartz Dynasty (2005). He also voiced Sid in the Hebrew version of Ice Age.
On TV, his career began with the duo Tal and Moshe, followed by appearances on Zehu Ze!, Tzafdina Mearahat and Shaaruria. In 1999 he co-hosted Halomot BeHaKitzis with Eyal Kitzis, which led to Heaven or Hell. In 2004 he joined Eretz Nehederet, and in 2007 he worked on the children's channel Logi.
He is married to Iris and they have three children, including two adopted from Ethiopia; their daughter Tamar is autistic. The family lives in Kiryat Tiv'on. Friedman leads a band called Tal Friedman and the Krayot and is an amateur meteorologist. He loves soccer and supports Hapoel Haifa.
He also appeared on The Singer in the Mask as "Krembo" and was the first eliminated. In 2015 he played for F.C. Haifa Robi Shapira in Liga Gimel.
