Clödie
Clödie is a Polish rock band formed in 2012 in Częstochowa. The current members are Klaudia Trzepizur (lead vocals), Olaf Olszewski (guitar), Jacek Czekaj (bass), Krzysztof Mrzygłód (keyboard), and Mateusz Królica (drums).
Klaudia Trzepizur started by posting cover songs on YouTube and later formed Clödie. She also appeared on The Voice of Poland in 2014, earning the nickname “Polish Bonnie Tyler.”
The band gained wide attention with their first English single Go! in 2018 and a viral cover of The Cranberries’ Zombie on YouTube that collected over 30 million views. This success helped them work with international writers and producers.
Clödie have chased Eurovision opportunities, including the 2019 entry with the song Devil in Disguise. They have released both original songs and Polish-language singles, such as Świąteczny czas (2019), which charted, and English versions like Fire Burns Within. They also maintain a Christmas music tradition with Polish holiday songs and covers like Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.
Their sound blends 1980s rock vibes with a modern touch, and they continue to release new music and perform together.
