Suhasini Raj is an Indian journalist. She worked with Cobrapost on Operation Duryodhana, which aired on Aaj Tak on December 12, 2005. In the operation, she bribed eleven Members of Parliament to ask questions in Parliament that were meant to push for small‑scale industries. She later joined The New York Times’ South Asia bureau in Delhi. On October 18, 2018, she tried to visit the Sabarimala temple in Kerala after the Supreme Court allowed all women to enter. Devotees blocked her with prayer chants and escorted her back, arguing it was against the temple’s tradition for women between ages 10 and 50 to enter. She said she was manhandled and pelted with stones, and she has faced online abuse since the incident.
