Chukauni
Chukauni (Nepali: चुकौनी) is a simple Nepalese salad from the Palpa district in western Nepal. It is made by mixing boiled potatoes with yogurt (dahi), onion, coriander and spices. This dish is commonly served as a side with roti, sel roti, steamed rice or batuk, and can be eaten warm or cold. It comes together in about 20 to 30 minutes and uses only a few ingredients: potatoes, yogurt, salt and spices, with onion and chilies adding flavor.
