Chris Young (Christopher C. Young) was an English rugby league winger who played in the 1960s. Born in the Hull district around 1945, he began his professional career with Hull Kingston Rovers, playing there from 1964 to 1969 and making 164 appearances with 85 tries. He then moved to York in October 1969. For Great Britain, he earned five international caps between 1967 and 1968, and he also played for Yorkshire. He was part of the Great Britain squad for the 1968 Rugby League World Cup, but did not play in the tournament. Highlights include scoring in Hull KR's 1966 Yorkshire Cup Final win and being the joint top try-scorer in the 1966–67 Championship with 34 tries. Chris Young died of cancer on 19 December 2016, aged 71. His funeral was held at Haltemprice Crematorium in Hull, with a reception in Skidby.
