Tapos is a town and district (kecamatan) in the city of Depok, West Java, Indonesia. It covers 33.43 square kilometers and sits about 64 meters above sea level. The population has grown from 216,215 in 2010 to 263,400 in 2020, with an estimated 276,010 in mid-2023. Tapos is divided into seven urban communities (kelurahan). The district uses Indonesia Western Time (IWST), UTC+7. The area code is +62 21 and the vehicle registration code is B. Its coordinates are roughly 6°25′10″S 106°52′40″E.
