Choong Hon Jian (钟鸿健; born 2 July 2000) is a Malaysian badminton player from Bukit Mertajam, Penang. He plays left-handed and competes in both men's doubles and mixed doubles. He won a bronze medal in the mixed-team event at the 2018 Badminton Asia Junior Championships.

In 2023, he claimed his first international title with Toh Ee Wei at the Polish Open in March, and the pair added Slovenian International and Austrian Open titles in the following months. He started the year with Goh Sze Fei in men’s doubles, reaching the final of the Thailand International in March but losing to the top seeds.

At the 2023 SEA Games, he helped Malaysia win a silver medal in the men’s team event. The Goh Sze Fei partnership ended in June 2023, and in August he began teaming with Muhammad Haikal in men’s doubles. In October 2023, he and mixed-doubles partner Go Pei Kee reached their first final at the Indonesia International, and a week later were runners-up at the Indonesia Masters II.

In December 2023, Choong and Haikal won their first BWF World Tour title at the Syed Modi International, and the following week they won the Guwahati Masters. In March 2024, they won the Orléans Masters. He has represented Malaysia in team events such as the Asia Team Championships (2024) and the Thomas Cup (2024).

Career highs include a ranking of 18 in men’s doubles with Haikal on 17 September 2024, and 38 in mixed doubles with Go Pei Kee on 25 June 2024. As of 27 January 2026, his current ranking is 33 in men’s doubles with Haikal.
