Chermoshnya (Russian: Чермошня) is a village in Shchyokinsky District, Tula Oblast, Russia. Since 1832 it belonged to the Dostoevsky family, and Fyodor Dostoevsky spent his childhood there. The village is mentioned in his novel The Brothers Karamazov. It sits at about 53.7589° N, 37.5222° E.
