Chelis kindermanni is a moth in the family Erebidae. It was described by Otto Staudinger in 1867. It is found in parts of Russia (southern Ural region, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Altai, Khakassia, Lake Baikal area, Transbaikal, Middle Amur, and southern Primorye), Mongolia, and China (Qinghai, Shanxi, Heilongjiang, and Liaoning). In 2016, researchers moved it from the genus Sibirarctia to Chelis based on new phylogenetic information.
