Charlottetown (electoral district)
Charlottetown is a federal electoral district in Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is represented in the House of Commons and covers the whole City of Charlottetown.
The district is 46 square kilometres in size. It has a population of about 38,800 people (2021) and about 27,700 registered voters (2025).
The current Member of Parliament is Sean Casey of the Liberal Party.
Charlottetown was created in 2003, mostly from the old Hillsborough riding, and was first contested in 2004. In 2022, boundary changes added part of the Marshfield area from the neighboring Malpeque riding, taking effect for the 2025 federal election.
